Kyu C. LEE

Known as “Q” in Hollywood and in the Korean Entertainment Industry, Lee began his career in 2001 with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) After he Graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business and Drama. Starting as an assistant, Lee quickly rose to become Executive Assistant to both the Vice Chairman of SPE and Chairman of Columbia Pictures Motion Picture Group from 2003-2007.

Lee’s relationship with the Korean Entertainment Industry began when he became the primary marketer and distributor for the theatrical and home entertainment acquisition of the 2005 Korean Box-Office hit “Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War” to the US market.
He then joined Sony Korea in 2009 and supervised the launching of key figures of the Korean Entertainment Industry into Hollywood, including Jang Dong Gun, Lee Byung Hun, Jun Ji Hyun, Kwon Sang Woo and Big Bang’s TOP.
In 2012, Lee was at the forefront in globalizing PSY’s hit song “Gangnam Style.” Lee is responsible for introducing PSY to Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and spearheaded PSY’s activities in the US, resulting in PSY’s worldwide success and becoming the #1 most viewed video in YouTube History.

In 2009, Lee co-founded the multicultural girl group “Blush” who are praised as the Spice Girls of Asia. Lee currently co-produces and promotes Blush together with FarWest Entertainment.

Lee is also the Founder and CEO of Kino33 Entertainment since 2012,
which specializes in Film/TV/Music Management and Production.
